Senior Contract Officer

Reporting to the Vendor Assurance Manager, this role offers the chance to collaborate on a large portfolio alongside an experienced and close-knit team. As a Senior Contracts Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing vendors over the supplier lifecycle, from inception to delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct vendor audits and assessments to ensure compliance and performance standards are met.Monitor vendor performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality and service delivery.Maintain accurate vendor documentation and records to ensure transparency and accountability.Manage contracted budgets and reconcile invoices and payments efficiently.Track escalated issues and conduct root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.To be successful, you will need: A high-level understanding of vendor management, commercial management, quality assurance, and IT contracting models.Proficiency in financial management with a focus on vendor finance and budgeting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with creative thinking and strategic planning abilities.Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with a consultative and collaborative communication style.The ability to work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating autonomy, strategic thinking, and effective prioritisation skills..
