Organisation: Department of Transport and PlanningOccupation: OtherReference: 6207About the RoleThe Senior Contract Manager will provide contract management advice and support across all MR5 Tram Modules in the Franchise Agreement.The role will work in partnership with the internal legal team to ensure contractual assurance for MR5 Tram.The role will work collaboratively with other members of the Metro Tram team that have responsibility for management of franchisee obligations. The role will be accountable for fostering an organisational culture of high-performance and inclusiveness, and actively role modelling DTP's values.Project Management - Manage, oversee and govern high value rolling stock maintenance projects to an agreed whole of investment life cycle process and within a best practice Project Management Framework.Asset Management – Demonstrate expertise in asset condition assessment and asset system life cycle management. Lead the development, review and improvement of rolling stock information including condition, criticality, value, remaining life and performance.Continuous Improvement – Contribute to continuous improvement, ensuring that appropriate governance, justification, documentation and record keeping for any changes to the work program are in line with the requirements of the operator agreements and other related documents.Leadership – Provide effective leadership and support and lead in a dynamic and constantly changing environment. Staff are engaged with high levels of cohesion and commitment and are delivering on the services required.Authoritative Advice – High quality, authoritative strategic, project and operational advice to support transport portfolio objectives and respond to emerging and/or complex issues.Key Selection CriteriaThe Department of Transport and Planning seeks a skilled Manager to manage contract and commercial aspects of the MR5 tram project, ensuring the delivery of enhanced public transport quality across Victoria.
