Contracts Manager – Mining Machinery Global organisation Salary up to $180K + Super North Brisbane based Our client is a leading global manufacturer and supplier to the mining Industry. Due to ongoing growth they are currently looking for an additional Contracts Manager, to lead their team of 6 Contracts Managers. This role requires a mix of strategic insight, sales expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and a comprehensive grasp of the resources industry, especially in commercial operations and the vital interplay between an OEM and key clients. The key focus for this role will include: Leading and empowering team members to strengthen strategic customer relationships Driving business growth Key liaison for critical customer issues, escalations, and future needs anticipation Coordinating team efforts, utilizing available resources to develop and implement operational plans aligned with customer expectations and timelines Contract Management: Manage the lifecycle of assigned customer contracts, from initiation to renewal or termination Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with the internal FLS Sales team to negotiate contract terms and conditions. Legal Compliance: Liaise with the Legal team to ensure that all contracts adhere to legal requirements and mitigate any potential legal issues. Retaining & strengthening current client portfolios. Creating performance analytics, forecasts, and reporting Facilitate contracts modifications and submit new proposals. Stakeholder communication management To be successful in this role you will be required to have: A bachelor's degree in business administration, Law, Mining, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory. Proven experience as a Contract Manager or in a similar role in business development of industrial equipment based upon strategic relationships. Good knowledge of commercial negotiations and dealings, including contract laws, regulations, or best practices. Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. Previous experience leading people (F2F and remote). Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and meet deadlines. Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities. A customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering outstanding service. Good understanding of Supply Chain processes and principles. Ability to interpret and comprehend basic financial data. Working knowledge of the resources sector and large industrial clientele.
