Senior Contract Advisor

We are seeking a Senior Contracts Advisor for a site-based role (2:1 roster) to manage contract administration, claims, and documentation for a major construction project.
This site-based role (2:1 roster) will involve working closely with the Construction Manager to oversee day-to-day contractual activities, including contract administration, site instructions, claims management, and ensuring accurate documentation. You will report to the Contracts Lead and work independently on-site to support the project's progress as it ramps up in the coming months.
Key Responsibilities :
Contract Administration : Manage post-award contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions and monitoring performance. Site Instructions : Track and manage site instructions, variations, and ensure proper documentation of changes. Claims Management : Assist in preparing and reviewing contractual claims, supporting the resolution of disputes. Documentation & Reporting : Maintain up-to-date records and report on contractual matters to the Contracts Lead and site team. Stakeholder Liaison : Work closely with the construction team, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet contractual obligations and project milestones. Risk Management : Identify and manage contractual risks, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place. Compliance : Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Skills & Experience :
Minimum 10 years of experience in contract management within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects. Experience in civil or mechanical works, well regarded. Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and risk management. Previous site-based experience with hands-on contract administration. Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders. Familiarity with AS4000 or similar contract frameworks is desirable.
