A Senior Contract Administrator is required by this National Tier 2 builder. The role will require you to mentor and support some Junior CAs.

This national builder delivers over $1 Billion of projects across Australia annually, and delivers projects here in Melbourne from $5M through to $100M across Industrial, Health, Education, and Institutional projects. They have a range of project experiences and you could work on any number of types of builds from hotels and student accommodation to commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, or sports/aquatic centres.
Highly regarded as an employer of choice, and a culture of high performance, they are now looking to grow a project team and within that, a highly capable Senior Contract Administrator.
The position
Reporting to the Commercial Manager and supporting a team of intermediate and junior-level Contract Administrators across multiple projects, you will be expected to deliver the full range of Contract Administration duties, on projects from start to completion. Duties include:
Vetting and letting of contract packages
Negotiating with Sub-contractors
Writing scopes of work
Administering variations and progress claims
Project cost reporting and financial management

Degree qualified within a relevant construction/engineering discipline (a quantity surveying background is beneficial)
Experience with each and every duty mentioned above
Experienced and comfortable leading projects at $50M +
You must be highly competent in a CA role currently - within the Australian commercial construction
Must be a seasoned professional who can support, mentor, and train junior CAs
