Senior Contract Administrator (In Emergency Management)Full Time, Fixed Term position until 2 February 2026Attractive VPS 5 salary between $109,730 - $132,764 + superannuationEmergency Management includes the department's emergency management accountabilities delivered through Emergency Management Victoria, Emergency Recovery Victoria, Sector Performance and Reform and emergency management statutory entities and offices. The work of the group supports the emergency management sector to work together and to strengthen the capacity of individuals, communities, government, agencies and business to achieve our shared vision of safer and more resilient communities and to rebuild and recover after an emergency.
EM Technology and Data The business unit is responsible for both national and state technology platforms that enable communications to and from the community, sector operational communications and sector information systems. The EM Technology business unit is responsible for delivering the following key functions:
Strategy & Enterprise ArchitectureInvestment PlanningSupport & DevelopmentProcurement & Program DeliveryWhat will the role do? Provide best practice commercial management for EM Tech and Data telecommunication contracts.Strong relationship management to enable effective engagement and influencing of a range of key business stakeholders and suppliers to enable the delivery of commercial outcomes.Undertake complex negotiations to ensure Value for Money outcomes for the State.Maintain oversight and coordinate the operational contract management modification deliverables.Support Training and Development in designing and managing robust controls to mitigate business risks and meeting compliance requirements for contract management.What skills and knowledge should the Senior Contract Administrator have? Experience in managing complex contracts.Strong vendor management and stakeholder management experience.Financial and budget management experience.Information management and data management.A minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in contract management or a related field, demonstrating a strong sense of business acumen.Effective communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills, enabling you to collaborate successfully with various site owners and Government Department.Experience in accounts payable and document management.If this sounds like a compelling job that you believe your skills would be a great match for, please APPLY NOW.
