Senior Contract Administrator - Aged Care & Apartments Randstad - Construction, Property & Engineering We are looking for an ambitious Senior Contracts Administrator with career growth aspirations and existing experience with a reputable, recognised head contractor, to join a growing business specialising in luxury residential and commercial construction projects with a strong pipeline of new build projects in 2024.Responsibilities:Your role will involve overseeing 2 x projects simultaneously with a Contract Administrator on your team to assist you - so if you enjoy mentoring more junior team members, this role is for you. You will be reporting to a collaborative Project Manager, Commercial Manager and Construction Manager.The business specialise in a mix of new build luxury Residential/Mixed-Use Apartments, Aged Care, Commercial, Industrial, and large Hospitality projects and up to $25m in value. The position is available as they have a strong pipeline of upcoming new build and technically challenging projects. For the two projects they have in mind for you, both are based in the Western Suburbs - one is just about to commence and the other is approximately half way through the program.The business would like to add another commercially astute Senior Contracts Administrator to their existing senior management team, so if you like a challenge and would like to add value, this is the perfect opportunity. As a growing business with a turnover upwards of $150m, they offer a professional and agile culture where you will get lots of autonomy to drive your projects, while collaborating effectively with your Project Manager. There will be a project related bonus achievable on timely, successful delivery of your projects.Your job will be working closely with the existing team to establish good working relationships with new and existing clients and subcontractors. You will be a focused negotiator, managing the financial aspects in cost management.The business uses construction software packages including Jobpac, Payapps & Procore so if you are familiar with those it would be advantageous, although full training will be provided. The business are passionate about promoting staff from within and providing excellent training and support for their staff.Skills & experience:Minimum 5+ years experience as a Contract Administrator in Sydney, so you are familiar with the local subcontractors and processesYou will be keen to develop the team and have experience compiling cost reports, overseeing cash flow, head contracts management, building stakeholder relationships, and have leadership qualities to mentor and develop your teamExperience in preparing sub contract packages, variations, cost planning, progress claims and EOT's and NoD'sDegree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or equivalentYou have experience working on projects $20m-$50m+ from early pre-construction through to handover & final accountsExperience using construction related software - familiarity with Jobpac, Payapps & Procore would be advantageousA thirst for a challenge, energy to over achieve, loyalty and vision to want to succeed and grow within the business.
