The Role As our Senior Content Specialist, you'll specialise in energy-related topics, creating content that enlightens and engages.
From breaking down renewable energy innovations and solar power insights to demystifying electricity tariffs, you'll help Australians understand and navigate the complexities of the energy market.
You'll also have the opportunity to lead and mentor junior writers, collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and PR teams, and contribute to our energy content strategy.
What You'll Be Doing Crafting compelling and clear digital content on energy topics, from electricity and gas to renewables, that empowers consumers to make informed choices.Implementing SEO best practices to drive traffic and maximize the reach of our energy-related content.Translating research and data on energy pricing and market trends into accessible and engaging articles.Building relationships with key energy industry experts, regulators, and information sources to keep content current and accurate.Collaborating with commercial teams to support content-driven revenue initiatives.Ensuring all energy content complies with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.What We're Looking For Proven experience (5+ years) in content production, ideally in the digital or energy space.Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.A genuine curiosity about the energy sector and the ability to convey complex topics in an understandable way.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently.Familiarity with SEO strategies and tools like Google Analytics (a plus).Experience using content management systems, such as WordPress (a plus).A degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not essential).Ready to power up your career and create content that matters?
