As our Senior Content Design Officer (web), you will: Lead content writing and design projects to deliver customer-focussed content for fireants.org.au and related online services.Educate, promote and influence business areas on best-practice web writing, publishing processes and procedures.Provide advice and direction about online content, information architecture, accessibility, usability, industry guidelines and whole-of-government website standards.Manage timelines and deadlines to ensure deliverables are on time and within budget.Contribute to the continuous improvement of communication and engagement practices and procedures, and to ongoing content review.Represent the department at whole-of-government forums and communities of practice.Establish and maintain effective relationships with management, subject matter experts, colleagues, stakeholders and other government web teams.Maintain expertise and operational knowledge of current and emerging trends, technologies and practices in communication.The work we do is widespread and varied, but our people are united by an innate sense of purpose, and a passion to serve their fellow Queenslanders.
