About the Role CEDA is seeking a skilled editor with a curious mind, a strong instinct for engaging content and a keen interest in public policy and data visualisation.
As Senior Content and Publications Advisor, you will:
Manage digital production of CEDA research content and publications and commission opinion articles aligned with our policy objectives.Enjoy communicating complex ideas to a range of audiences through digital channels, producing accessible, clean copy to tight deadlines.Develop, design and publish sharp and compelling content through our digital channels and publications.Manage the completion of reports to strict deadlines, from design and layout to sourcing images, liaising with authors and managing approvals.Commission and edit external contributions on topical issues for CEDA's opinion section and produce regular updates for members.Skills and Experience Required Demonstrated experience (minimum five years) in managing publication production.Proven copy-editing skills and outstanding attention to detail.Tertiary qualification or equivalent in communications or journalism.Previous experience liaising with high-level stakeholders.Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.Interest and experience in digital storytelling and data visualisation.Strong digital skills including Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign), Microsoft Dynamics 365 and website CMS.Exceptional time management and organisational skills.Previous exposure to a policy or research environment.CEDA's work is driven by our values: We are open, honest and trusted.We are curious about ideas and opportunities.We succeed together.We are brave in our approach and ambitions.We are passionate about working with our members for the greater good.Our work environment is fun and fast-paced.
