Reporting to the Associate Director, Workplace Relations, you'll drive workplace relations projects and initiatives and play an essential part in legislative compliance and best-practice implementation across the university.As a Senior Consultant, you will:Provide expert advice on workplace relations matters, including enterprise agreement (EA) interpretation and managing complex cases like industrial disputes.Represent the University at Conciliation hearings, preparing materials and recommending approaches to support positive outcomes.Advise stakeholders on workplace relations issues, offering practical, balanced guidance that considers organisational risk.Contribute to enterprise bargaining efforts, preparing EA documentation for the Fair Work Commission and supporting good faith negotiations.Lead or support investigations into misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and bullying, preparing reports with actionable recommendations.To be successful, you'll have:A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience in workplace relations and/or employment law.Extensive knowledge of workplace/industrial relations legislation and practices and ideally, at least 3 years post admissions experience.Proven experience in managing complex workplace relations issues and influencing key stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to provide training and coaching on workplace relations issues, including conflict resolution and grievance management.Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build and maintain productive relationships across all levels of the university and with external partners.Here's how to apply:Please submit your updated resume and a short cover letter outlining your skills and experience.For a confidential discussion regarding this role, please contact Gemma Doyle,
