About the role
The People & CultureDirectorate provide a range of services to all TAFE SA. TheWork Health, Safety and Injury Management (WHSIM) Business Unitprovides strategic and operational services to Executive,Directors, managers and staff and is responsible for work healthand safety, wellbeing and injury prevention and management acrossall TAFE SA campuses and workgroups.
Senior Consultant's WHSW are responsible for providingspecialist consultancy services, expertise, advice and supportwhich contributes to the strategic objectives of TAFE SA.

The role significantly influences practical application of the WHS,Wellbeing and Return to Work Acts, Regulations, Codes of Practices,standards (including ReturntoWork SA self-insurers standards),policy, procedures, and operating instructions to prevent, mitigateand manage injury.

Senior WHSW Consultants autonomously manage projects, lead complexaccident investigation, including notifiable events, assist in thedevelopment of other WHSIM team members through knowledge andskills transfer. They provide high level consultancy servicesin injury prevention and injury management to support Business UnitDirectors, managers, and staff to prevent and mitigate thebusiness, social and economic impact of workplace incidents andinjuries.

Senior Consultants, Workplace Health, Safety and Wellbeing, areaccountable to the Deputy Director, Health, Safety andWellbeing.


Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a validWorking With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed.Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Departmentof Human Services (DHS).
