What's in it for you? As our Senior Consultant in Supply Chain and Operations, you'll be advising our clients on advanced planning methodologies, demand forecasting, inventory optimisation, and sales and operations understanding.Core Responsibilities Analyse clients' supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.Develop and implement strategic supply chain planning solutions that align with clients' business objectives.Advise on the selection and implementation of Supply Chain Planning software solutions, such as Advanced Planning Systems (APS), to improve planning accuracy and operational efficiency.Lead cross-functional project teams to ensure successful execution of supply chain initiatives, including implementation of supply chain planning software such as OMP, o9, Blue Yonder, SAP APO.Collaborate with clients to establish supply chain performance metrics and monitor progress.Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance clients' supply chain capabilities.Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and participating in proposal development.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain planning to provide informed recommendations to clients.You also agree to perform all other reasonable duties and comply with reasonable and lawful instructions by the Firm.What we're looking for Essential Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, consulting, or a related role.Excellent planning skills and understanding of demand planning, supply planning, S&OP and inventory management.Proven track record of successful supply chain optimization projects.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.Proficiency in supply chain planning software and tools (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, OMP, o9).Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the aptitude to engage effectively with various stakeholders.Desirable Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Personal Attributes Leads by example and models behaviour that support a culture of safety, health and wellness.Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.Strong integrity and professionalism.Attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills - teamwork and cooperation.Self management - time management and self-awareness.What we can offer you Explore how a career at EY is yours to build at www.ey.com/au/careerdevelopmentDiscover how, when and where you can work at www.ey.com/au/flexibilityLearn about our commitment to DE&I at www.ey.com/au/diversity-inclusivenessDiscover the various ways our benefits can cater to your needs, across wellness, financial wellbeing, and family-friendly policies which include 26 weeks gender neutral paid parental leave at www.ey.com/au/benefitsWe offer a competitive salary which is open to negotiation pending on skills and experience.Acknowledgement of Country EY acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the lands on which EY offices are located around Australia.
