You will be instrumental in the delivery of the Bank's Safety and Wellbeing Strategic Plan through crafting and implementing programs which promote a physical and psychologically safe workplace, as well as effective early prevention, referral pathways and claims management. You will have the opportunity to expand on the work done so far to create a flourishing workplace for employees at the Bank.
Your background
Developed, implemented, and monitored strategy, policies, and practices that contribute to and support a physically and psychologically safe workplace.
Developed, implemented, and managed preventative and early intervention strategies to improve workplace health and wellbeing outcomes.
Experience providing a strategic approach to managing workers' compensation in a large organisation including experience providing early intervention support and return to work.
Proactively support leaders in the management of safety, rehabilitation and return to work of employees.
Provided support, advice, and training to managers and supervisors to assist in the provision of effective employee management practices.
Experience in the development and implementation of health and safety programs to increase organisational capability in hazard management in the workplace.
Qualifications in safety, risk management, paramedical or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
Strong communication skills and a track record in high level stakeholder engagement.
