About the team Our RAS teams provide a full range of risk solutions to help organisations navigate a diverse range of challenges, changes, and opportunities. This includes risk management, risk mitigation, risk strategies, and crisis management.
Our Risk team provides services across all industries to ensure that appropriate controls, processes, and solutions are in place to manage risks, and we assist clients to better understand how to achieve their strategic and operational objectives.
About the role As a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with leaders and colleagues to help provide advice and services to clients. We strive to establish and maintain outstanding relationships with clients by focusing on their key objectives, collaborating and partnering with them, operating with integrity, trust, and responsibility, keeping our promises, and maintaining open and timely communication.
This role will focus on providing risk remediation and assurance services, developing governance and risk management frameworks, helping to facilitate workshops, and advising on risk and mitigation.
Key tasks and responsibilities Assist with delivering a variety of risk, assurance, business improvement, and transformation projects.Recommending technical and non-technical improvements to client systems, processes, and controls.Preparing proposals in response to client requests (including budgeting to assignment costs).Supporting with the scheduling and allocation of work across the team.Supervising fieldwork and contributing to the development of junior team members.About you Our ideal candidate will come from a Risk Consulting / Internal Audit background ideally gained within a professional services environment. Combined with:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Analytically minded, good problem solver, and investigator.Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as a strong team player, always willing to assist colleagues from all teams and levels.Highly professional with strong business acumen.Advanced Microsoft Suite skills (intermediate is acceptable for Excel).Why BDO? Please note, the package for this role will commence at $80,000 inclusive of super.
