Our client is seeking a Senior Consultant for Power Systems to add both technical and leadership experience to the analysis group, working on strategic and complex connection problems.

This role would suit an experienced power systems engineer with a deep understanding of network and grid connections, highly capable with PSSE/PSCAD, excellent stakeholder management skills and with the aptitude to build project scopes alongside their client base.
The Role: Senior Consultant – Power Systems Location: Sydney, NSW Salary: $170,000 - $190,000 + Super (on average 15-20% bonus OTE) Key Skills: Degree level qualified in a tertiary qualification, such as Electrical Engineering.
Projects experience, working within renewables, energy systems and technologies (generation, distribution, transmission networks, battery energy storage systems etc) Demonstrable experience in Grid Connection requirements, processes, Strong understanding of grid connection technical requirements, processes, legislation and regulatory frameworks (including the National Electricity Rules).
Solid demonstrable knowledge of electricity networks, energy markets, and National Electricity Market operation.
Excellent knowledge of electricity networks, power systems analysis and operational planning.
Expert Proficiency with power systems modelling software (e.g.
PSS/E, PSCAD and PowerFactory).
Likely to have at least 5+ years of experience of professional experience in the energy sector.
