Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with expertise in data management, analysis, and business intelligence systems.
The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs, design and maintain data pipelines, and ensure high-quality data flow within the organization.
A key aspect of this role will involve extracting valuable insights from data to support informed decision-making and drive organizational objectives.
The candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of data infrastructure, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
Additionally, they will play a significant role in data modelling, integration, and analytics, with the aim of enhancing the company's overall data capabilities.
Proficiency in business intelligence (BI) tools, such as Power BI, and strong data visualization skills are essential, as the candidate will regularly present findings in a user-friendly format.
The role also involves producing comprehensive technical documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of data-related projects.
Experience in data governance, policy management, and information architecture is critical, as the role requires adherence to industry standards.
Additionally, the candidate should be able to identify potential risks in data analysis tasks and provide effective mitigations.
Exposure to cloud technologies such as Azure, dbt, Fabric, and Snowflake is very important, as is experience in the insurance domain.
This role offers the opportunity to support clients in optimizing their information systems for enhanced performance, while providing consultation on best practices in data analysis and governance.

Assist in the development and maintenance of data infrastructure for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines to ensure smooth and accurate information flow.
Implement data quality checks to ensure consistency across various datasets.
Contribute to data modelling, analytics, and integration efforts to improve overall data capabilities.
Produce detailed technical documentation for knowledge transfer and system understanding.
Utilize business intelligence tools and data visualization techniques to present insights and trends in an accessible manner.
Regularly communicate project updates to stakeholders, addressing concerns and queries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and ensure successful outcomes.
Identify potential risks in data analysis tasks and propose effective mitigations.
Provide consultation on best practices in data analysis, helping clients optimize their information systems for better performance.
Follow industry standards and best practices in data governance, policy management, and information architecture.
Identify, investigate, and analysing business processes, procedures and work practices.
Develop and evaluate recommendations to further optimise systems and business processors to meet organisational requirements.
