We are seeking a multi-skilled urban planner/designer, with 4-6 years' experience.
Ideally, you will have strong strategic planning, urban design, smart cities, urban development and/or policy preparation experience.
We are looking for someone with experience and interest to work on strategic planning, master planning, smart/liveable cities, urban policy projects, including international city development programs.
Our team has a strong pipeline of work in planning policy, international smart cities, place and liveability, strategic planning, and master planning.
You will be eager to develop strong relationships with our clients, contribute to a range of projects both locally and internationally, and actively support the growth of our planning and design business in Australia and Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities
Lead member of the Urban Planning and Design team, based in Sydney office with a focus on strategic urban planning, urban design and master planning, and international city development programs in Asia Pacific Region Work with the Principal, Urban Planning and Design to:Lead and take ownership for the management and delivery of quality technical client services for Ramboll projects in Sydney, NSW and Asia Pacific Region Support the team to grow the size, capabilities and client base of the Urban Planning and Design team in NSW, Australia and Asia Pacific Region.
Your role also includes:
Support in the growth of the Urban Planning and Design practice through focus on quality and fostering strong working relationships with clients Establish and maintain relationships with clients externally and within the business to identify, pursue and win new work opportunities Build a strong backlog of small and large projects to enable organic growth of the team Mentor and train the junior members of the urban planning team Actively represent Ramboll Australia and the Sydney Office capabilities in the industry.
Your starting point for constant growth
A senior level planner (4-6 years) Preference for consulting experience in an international consulting firm Preference for international project experience (such as South East Asia) Experience with statutory planning and environmental/social assessment, as well as capabilities in master planning, strategic planning and smart cities Capable of working across range of sectors, locations and/or client markets Ability to lead and manage projects with high attention to detail Ability to foster strong client relationships with key clients Strong inter-personal and collaboration skills.
