Our International Employer and Personal Tax (IEPT)practice consists of professionals with strong experience and credentials to deliver optimal outcomes for our clients.We work on complex individual tax compliance and consulting advice, with a specific international focus, including matters such as individual residency, foreign investments, foreign superannuation, and foreign companies/trusts.

We are looking for aSenior Consultantto support our team navigate an increasingly complex tax environment for clients through innovative solutions.You will be a problem solver by nature and passionate about being at the forefront of change.

Responsibilities:
Providing advice on cross-border employment tax obligations pertaining to employees working remotely or on specific projects.

Providing advice on cross-border personal tax obligations for high net worth individual clients.

Identifying consulting and other opportunities through review of individual and family group tax returns and other client communications;

Getting involved in proposals and business development;

Identifying consulting and other opportunities through review of tax returns and other client communications;

Acting as an integral part of developing and training more junior staff in client and technical focused areas;

Work with teams across tax specialisations (employment tax, corporate tax, global tax Private ect); and

Foster working relationships with both internal and external clients and staff

About you:

You have previous tax experience in global mobility or individual income tax. You are skilled in being able to think critically and analyse information to provide innovative solutions, with a strong interest in being able to advise high net worth clients, multinational groups, family groups, privately owned businesses and individuals with complex cross border issues. You have strong client and coaching skills, being able to build and maintain client and team member relationships.

Passionate about being at the forefront of change, you're ready to help our Tax team navigate an increasingly complex tax environment for clients through innovative solutions.

Together with your strong verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate with impact to both internal and external clients and staff, you will demonstrate a strong client service mindset and experience in dealing with clients across a range of industry specialisations and liaise with relevant taxation authorities.

Skills and Experience and Qualifications:
Demonstrate relevant experience in a tax consulting services environment or comparable business environment

Have the analytical ability to problem research, solve and identify unique solutions

The ability to present solutions in a clear and articulate manner, tailoring writing or presentation style to suit the needs of the client

The ability to rapidly build rapport and work in a team environment

Display effective time management

Completed a relevant Tertiary Qualification in Business/Commerce/Economics or Law

Completed, in the process of completing or willing to complete CA, Masters of Taxation, Masters of International Business, or other relevant further education qualification
