Senior Consultant - Intelligence Analysis

The RoleCoras is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant with an all-source intelligence analysis background to join our team on a full-time permanent capacity in Canberra. In this role, you will provide specialist consulting services to a wide range of federal government clients across Defence and National Security & Intelligence agencies, while leveraging your expertise in intelligence methodologies, analytical processes, and techniques. While we are looking for a Senior Consultant, we are open to a diversity of skill levels (Consultant to Manager) in this speciality, and while consulting experience would be great, we can help you to develop those skills if you haven't consulted before. Our Ideal CandidateThis role is suited to someone with strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, who is familiar with intelligence processes, governance, or management, and is ready to help our nation's leaders understand the critical threats and opportunities facing our country. As a Defence consultancy, we also need you to be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a AGSVA Security Clearance. Required skills and attributes include: All-source intelligence analysis experience in State or Federal GovernmentExperience evaluating, analysing, and synthesising large quantities of data (which may be fragmented and contradictory) into high quality intelligence productsAbility to develop high-quality deliverables tailored to senior stakeholders, including complex written products and formal or informal briefingsComfortable working with ambiguity and complexity, including within sensitive environments while under limited guidanceHigh levels of emotional intelligence and a humanistic approach to consultingA proven track record of delivering quality outcomesAn active or re-instatable NV2 AGSVA Security Clearance (or higher)Having these other abilities would also be awesome (but not mandatory): Experience in National Security as a practitionerBachelor's degree in International Affairs or National Security Studies Certification/s or memberships addressing intelligence or intelligence management processes.
