The Opportunity:
We're seeking an enthusiastic and driven Senior Consultant to join our Economics & Property (E&P) Team in Perth, Western Australia.
Leveraging your knowledge and proven expertise in the field, you'll actively support our clients by providing robust economic and property advice and innovative solutions.
In this role, you'll immerse yourself in exciting research projects across residential, retail, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use sectors, both locally and nationally. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality research, modelling, and compelling reports on a diverse range of property projects for our clients.
In this role, you will:
Undertake research and analysis to support the creation of high-quality reports, leveraging both primary and secondary data sources.
Provide expertise, input, and advice regarding economic and land use principles and apply these to projects.
Prepare and articulate the rationale of analysis and forecasting for projects.
Drive the enhancement of our systems, processes and advice, elevating the quality and efficiency of our work output.
Support the Economics & Property team's business development initiatives by contributing valuable insights and expertise to submissions and presentations.
Cultivate relationships with industry peers, clients, and other contacts, under the guidance of Directors and Associate Directors.
Grow your internal network within Urbis by establishing meaningful connections across different Business Units.
Lead, train, and mentor Consultants and Research Analysts in the delivery of comprehensive reports.
Oversee the day-to-day management and delivery of projects, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
Deliver high-quality verbal and written advice to the team and clients.
Contribute to the scoping of assignments and the development of methodologies to deliver reports.
Play a crucial role in the effective and timely commercial management of projects, which includes client, project, and contract registration, invoicing, monitoring, and ensuring delivery within agreed budgets and timelines.
About You:
You hold tertiary qualifications in Property Economics, Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Town/Urban or Regional Planning, Business/Finance, or a related discipline.
You bring a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience.
You demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and other tools, techniques and software.
