Overview
A Solutions Consultant's primary role is to design and execute the implementation of solutions across a portfolio of our clients, as well as support solutions previously implemented. You will act as the technical face of the organization, establishing trust with our clients by helping them solve their business problems and improve their processes. Above all else, quality work and client satisfaction are our top priorities.
The successful candidate will be able to transition rapidly between hands-on project delivery within individual projects in support of overall program goals and deliverables, and high-level relationship building and program strategy execution. The ideal candidate will have a proven history of project execution success implementing or utilizing business-oriented IT/Software solutions within the Energy industry.
Responsibilities
Participate as a member of the APAC Services team from understanding the clients' business requirements all the way to implementation of Quorum's solutions.
Work with the Project Manager to understand assigned project responsibilities and keep the project on schedule and budget.
Perform software implementations at leading energy companies.
Hands-on in delivery of projects in support of overall program goals and deliverables.
Ensure that clients' needs are fulfilled by providing professional high-quality service and assistance.
Support clients through go-live process and promote solution adoption.
Communicate project deliverables, managing expectations, presenting, and interfacing with stakeholders.
Solve challenging technical support questions related to the solution suite.
Work effectively across internal departments.
Provide solution training to clients and employees.
And other duties as assigned.
Requirements
University Degree in a technical or business discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, etc.).
Minimum 10 years consulting experience with a minimum of 5 years' experience working with Energy Components.
Software implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support.
Experience completing a minimum of 3 implementation projects.
Strong technical skills in Oracle database (PL/SQL) and Java.
Ability to think through details without losing sight of the big picture.
Experience with general consulting skills including team facilitation, business case development, and process mapping.
Analytical nature with the ability to solve complex business process challenges.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
Ability to learn and master new technologies.
Detail oriented and customer focused.
Ability to develop trust with clients, including technical staff and management.
Software implementation background or experience working for a software company.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Ability to travel domestically & internationally – up to 6 weeks a year.
Preferred Skills
Oil & Gas domain knowledge with midstream knowledge preferred.
