System Response Transformation is seeking to establish a pool of Senior Consultants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during 2024 and up to the end of December, 2025. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
This includes one permanent position within the Transformation Office that is currently open (00043870), commencing ASAP.
The System Response and Transformation (SRT) Division drives high performance and assurance for the Department by providing senior leaders with visibility and assurance in the delivery of system performance and improvement initiatives. This is achieved by ensuring strategic responses and projects are delivered within expectations; collecting and analysing data and reporting on performance.
The Transformation Office researches the viability of concepts and develops recommendations that guide the strategic development to business improvement and transformational initiatives.
The Division's Program Management Office drives and provides oversight of responses and initiatives that facilitate the delivery of the Department's strategic intent and prepare the Department for the future. We do this by initiating, managing, and monitoring projects of strategic importance using project management methodologies to underpin collaboration, standardisation, and the on time, on budget delivery of key project metrics.
The Roles The allocation of staff to projects and initiatives within the division is flexible with the right people being drawn upon at the right time from across the division to support delivery of our collective business priorities based on the necessary skills and expertise. SRT members are required to have the expertise and ability to support multiple projects at once and manage priorities to address changing business needs.
High level interpersonal skills are a must, as the role requires working with colleagues within the SRT and across the Department. It is also expected you will be able to identify risks and conceptualise solutions in the design, development, management or closure/evaluation stage of programs and projects. The current, and any future roles, will require the ability to analyse data, including data dashboards, to identify trends, risk mitigation strategies and have an understanding of project management approaches.
