About You : Relevant Tertiary qualifications in business and/or community development and/or relevant applied industry experience Position Summary : The Senior Consultant is responsible for managing client relationships, outcomes for clients and driving and delivering projects and tasks on time and within an agreed budget.
The role requires a level of creativity and professionalism, high level business accumen, always approaching every relationship, project and task with the needs of the client in mind.
You will be required to plan projects and work with the Remote Strategy Plus team to undertake your role, and definitely have fun in the process.
Senior Consultants will use their empathy and communication skills to navigate professional situations, and apply their skills in business, management, community development, facilitation, budgeting and analysis to achieve positive outcomes for the client.
Through doing this you will also be a highly valued and respected part of the Remote Strategy Plus team.
Key Requirements : Proven working experience in senior management, in complex environments Experience working in remote Australia, particularly with Indigenous communities, and a deep understanding of social, economic, training and employment context in remote Australia Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Empathy and intuition, with the ability to apply excellent judgment in complex professional situations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other related project management softwares Job Responsibility : Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Ensure resource availability and allocation Develop detailed project plans to track and monitor progress Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques Use effective judgement in reporting and escalate to management as needed, always seeking advice and input when required Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders, focusing on building strong relationships and trust, with a focus on capacity building as required Perform risk management (formal and informal) to minimise project risks Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation Job Functions : Management consulting Job Benefits : Benefits to the Senior Consultant role include: Respectful and supportive work environment Negotiable training and professional development support relevant to the role Above award salary 9.5% superannuation 7.5% profit share bonus scheme, applied after the end of each financial year Company laptop Option of company mobile phone or mobile phone expense reimbursement model Selling Point : Consultancy and Management Services Contact : Fionn Griffin
