The Opportunity: Working with the Security and Technology Solutions team, this role is responsible for managing an ICT infrastructure project for one of our Federal clients.
This role will ensure our client's ICT infrastructure capabilities are designed, implemented, and maintained to meet the stringent requirements of Federal government and other key stakeholders.
A Defence Security Clearance to at least NV1 is required for this role.
The role is Canberra based, you must be able to work on site 5 days per week.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and deliver projects with agency-wide impact, ensuring alignment with project management frameworks and consideration of interdependencies.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to oversee project design, governance, and operational integration while meeting deliverables on time and within budget.
Manage and develop staff performance, attendance, and wellbeing, and provide strategic advice to stakeholders and executives.
Research, review, and report on project objectives and outputs, overseeing documentation and ongoing project reporting.
Manage financial budgets, contracts, and resources while identifying and addressing project risks, issues, and benefits, and ensuring quality deliverables.
Lead change management, contribute to strategic direction, and engage with key stakeholders to address evolving needs and expectations.
Represent the agency in external forums, negotiate interests, and exercise appropriate delegations in line with legislation and guidelines.

Experience managing critical ICT Infrastructure projects with multiple stakeholders.
Experience working in large organizations, preferably government departments.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
Proven success in leading technical teams and managing cross-disciplinary programs from definition to delivery.
Contributes to continuous improvement in project management systems, processes, and tools.
Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills that enhance cross-functional team development.
Experienced in tracking complex ICT projects and resolving blocking issues.
Familiar with AGILE methodology and project tracking.
Capable of producing documentation, talking points, and conducting research independently or as directed.
