About the Role The role of the Senior Consultant is to support the Store to provide value to customers across retail Home Lending, Personal Lending and small business channels.
You will provide support with managing, acquiring and growing our portfolio of customers.
You will play a significant role in enabling the business to continue to grow the retail lending portfolio, customer connectivity and NPS rating.

Role Type: Permanent, Full Time
What will your day look like?
As a Senior Consultant, you will:
Provide quality credit & risk solutions for customers through the fulfilment of home lending, personal lending and small business processing requirements, whilst enhancing the customer experience of the lending journey end to end.
Identify client needs and opportunities to be appropriately referred to an established network of specialist lenders, financial planners, insurance specialists, and Business Bankers within Suncorp.
Assist the Store to manage relationships with customers within their assigned portfolio.
Assist the Store to build relationships with new customers introduced via intermediary partners through effective Home Loan Welcome Calls.
Attend to client queries, ensuring all queries are responded to in a timely and professional manner and in keeping with established service standards.
Proactive identification and escalation of risks and issues related to your role responsibilities & captured as a service request in Ignite.
Comply with our complaint resolution process to resolve the matter, maintain our high service standards and mitigate further risks / losses.
Accountable for maintaining high data quality standards by ensuring information captured in our systems and documentation are correct and maintained in a timely manner.
Collaborate with peers in the region to ensure effective support and service delivery.
Assist the Store Leader in building confidence and capability across the store team around lending discussions.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Tertiary Qualifications in business, commerce, banking and/or finance are desirable.
Demonstrated experience in roles requiring growth and retention of a customer base.
Demonstrated experience in Home or Personal Lending.
Demonstrated experience in financial services.
Demonstrated capacity to adapt to a changing environment.
Demonstrated customer focus.
Strong interpersonal skills - using appropriate behavioural styles to develop relationships and influence others.
Strong communication - a demonstrated ability to convey and explain information, coherently and confidently both oral and written.
You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
