The Financial Services Climate Change & Sustainability Services (FSO CCaSS) team works with organisations across the financial sector to develop and implement sustainability strategies, policies and practices; prepare effective sustainability reports and/or integrate ESG information into other public disclosures; and provide assurance over non-financial reports and metrics.
We are part of a broader Global FSO CCaSS team focused on driving sustainable, inclusive growth.
The FSO CCaSS team seeks to build a better working world by helping businesses respond to social, environmental and governance challenges.
Our services include development of ESG strategies, materiality and maturity analyses, sustainability reporting, green/sustainable financing and assurance services.
This full-time role will be based in either Sydney or Melbourne, open to candidates with valid Australian working rights.

Play a key role in managing performance, mentoring more junior team members as the team grows and keeping engagement leaders updated.Ensure that EY delivers exceptional work (both internally and externally) that is in line with sustainability standards and frameworks.Work alongside EY's financial services clients as we complete diverse sustainability engagements.Contribute to the development of a market leading team that can provide the full range of ESG services: from baseline analysis and materiality assessments to drafting reports and completing assurance engagements.What we're looking for Here's our 'wish list' but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes.
We're interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.Proven track record of project management and delivery.Experience in assurance (financial or nonfinancial) or reporting.Experience in or passion for sustainability.Ability to work and effectively communicate with team members with different technical and cultural backgrounds, and across different geographies.Ability to deal with competing priorities and understand how to manage resources effectively.Ideally, you will also have Experience in climate change services (either in professional services, industry or government).An understanding of regulation, legislation and best practices relating to climate disclosures and carbon accounting.Experience in the financial services industry.Discover the various ways our benefits can cater to your needs, across wellness, financial wellbeing, and family-friendly policies which include 26 weeks gender neutral paid parental leave at www.ey.com/au/benefits.
