Senior Spatial Scientist/Ecologist Brisbane
ERM is looking for experienced Spatial Scientists/Consultants and/or Senior Flora/Fauna Ecologists to join our Brisbane based ecology and approvals team. With a strong pipeline of work relating to the renewable energy sector, we are open to recruiting at either the junior, mid, and/or senior levels.
The position(s) allows for flexible work arrangements to suit individual needs and can be part-time or full-time.
Consulting experience is preferred; however, if you have experience working in a related industry such as local government, revegetation, land management, conservation, or education we would like to hear from you.
The ideal candidates would have a minimum of 1 - 10 years relevant experience in a consulting or team environment, with the following:
Tertiary qualifications (and/or post-graduate qualifications) in ecology/botany or science
Good verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
Strong understanding of environmental/planning approvals regulations in QLD
Experience in managing approvals for infrastructure projects, with experience in the renewables sector desirable
GIS experience (habitat mapping and figure preparation)
