The Roles: Coras have an immediate need for Project Managers in Canberra with proven skills and experience in the Defence Industry.
These roles sit within our Professional Services Team and will see you providing Project Management consulting services to our Defence clients. We are looking for people with proven Project Management experience within the One Defence Capability System and who are known for their ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Our Ideal Candidate:To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders while working within or managing a project team. You have experience working in the Australian Defence environment supporting Commonwealth organisations successfully deliver critical capability, and you have an understanding and accreditations in Project Management methodologies.
Being a Defence consultancy, please note all Coras team members are required to be Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance.
Required skills and attributes include:
Relevant qualifications and accreditations in Project Management Previous experience providing Project Management services in Defence capability acquisition Working knowledge of the One Defence Capability System A strong track record of managing resources to ensure all project deliverables are achieved on time and within budget Humanistic, with a high level of emotional intelligence Persistent, resilient, and proactive problem-solver Excellent communicator, collaborator and facilitator Excellent planner with a high attention to detail An active NV1 Having these other abilities would also be awesome (but not mandatory):
Experience in Defence Maritime projects Experience in managing the development of capability definition artefacts and other pre-Gate 0 and Gate 1 deliverables Working knowledge of the ASDEFCON suite Minimum 2 years' experience in delivering Defence projects Experience in "Above the Line" support directly to the Commonwealth Coras prides itself on being a management consultancy with a difference.
