Ellucian is seeking an experienced Senior Data Conversion Consultant to join the APAC Professional Services team to work collaboratively with business analysts and customers to adopt our integrated administrative solutions for our universities. The Senior Data Conversion Consultant will execute all aspects related to the mapping of legacy data sets to Ellucian's Student Management System (Banner), requiring solid knowledge and understanding of application and database constraints. You will bridge the gap in educating the customer on their crosswalk development. You will build all initial conversion runs and draft runbooks for junior teammates to follow, and you will support the go-live and deployment of our Student Management System.

Where you will make an impact Facilitate all activities related to data mapping for client legacy data transformation (conversion), including collaboration with peers and customer work teams to ensure project expectations are exceeded. Leverage strong analytical and problem-solving skills to bridge the gap between the functional and technical aspects of Ellucian's Banner Student module. Build test conversion runs and use cases to execute initial rounds of the data transformation (conversion). Identify and remediate data quality issues that impede conversion success. Prepare runbooks and job aids for each conversion routine. Contribute to the creation of change request orders, as changes to the code and mappings are requested in the project. Collaborate with Professional Services teammates and the Data Conversion team on process improvement, tool evolution, use and maintenance of services artifacts and the maturation and promotion of recommended practices. Proactively prepare for and deliver high quality services with a willingness to learn and adapt to new strategies that evolve as technology and methodology mature. Consult with customers to drive performance improvement, own problems, execute with precision, and professionalism. Success will be measured by customer satisfaction, achievement of projects, and utilization targets. What you will bring Consulting experience on data conversion / data migration / database triggers etc. (5+ years). Expert level SQL programming skills. Experience with SaaS technologies, Postgres, AWS Glue, JavaScript, Python, and JDBC. Willingness to grow talents intrinsic to Ellucian solutions. Strong communication and presentation skills. Must present a professional demeanor. Ability to communicate to C-level and project leaders both internally and externally. Enabling delivery readiness, problem solving and root cause analysis through creativity, critical thinking and a strong work ethic. Experience developing and mentoring other consultants. Strong prioritization skills, able to manage activities based on business impact. Able to multitask and meet deadlines. Support and demonstration of Ellucian values.
