Role Summary Responsible for providing strategic leadership & overall management for Global Fund Services APAC and leading in the strategic and long-tern plans.
The role is responsible for day-to-day management of all GFS APAC resources (i.e., people, planning, oversight) and coordinates with senior leaders in other locations and Lines of Business.
Reporting to the Head of Global Fund Services APAC The Senior Consultant, Business Manager will support the GFS APAC Head and it's leadership team to set out the long-term strategic objectives for the GFS business and identify the most important results required to achieve that strategy.
We are open to both Sydney & Melbourne locations What you will do: Organize, content and facilitation of leadership team activity including staff meetings, planning meetings, site visits, etc.
Coordinate employee engagement including town halls, organizational announcements, communications, etc.
Will be the connectivity point and leadership for people agenda including Partner Engagement Survey, Celebrate Great, etc.
Coordinate and oversight of organizational messaging including flash reports, MIS reports, business partner updates, ad-hoc presentations, etc.
Develop effective and meaningful presentations & business update materials suitable for stakeholders, business partners and other senior stakeholders headlining GFS APAC story and overall business progress Partner with Ops Managers to ensure teams are staffed appropriately given volume, capacity and strategic outlook, developing business case for staffing changes as needed Represent the location strategy initiatives including real estate needs, business resiliency and migration activity Provide change leadership for broad organizational or otherwise significant initiatives Operate as internal consultant to improve business performance via analysis and recommendation in a variety of areas including data/metrics, process/procedures, etc.
Partner with Ops Managers to capture headcount requirements and manage changes through the budget lifecycle and validate Finance supplied headcount reporting for executives and other forums About You Knowledge Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise Excellent communication skills, together with influencing and relationship-building are important attributes for the role.
The ability to maintain confidentiality is essential Cost management experience including preparation of budgets and monitoring expenses for large functions Able to collaborate across lines of businesses and work with central/corporate organizations, building a strong network Working with big sets of data and analyzing this to find conclusions.
Developing and translating initiatives into a presentation.
Must be able to present findings and translate data into corporate presentations.
Drive trends and provide new conclusions or perspectives on new findings.
Working collaboratively with business partners: HR, Compliance and Finance in order to support day to day business activities.
Expert Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills Experience Significant experience within Financial Services.
Prior experience of producing MI for senior stakeholders alongside resource and budget management.
