You will have the opportunity to provide advice relating to the required tools, techniques and analysis associated with planning and development impacts. You will support new and existing relationships with clients and contribute to the overall growth of Planning.The roles are supported by a highly experienced Director and a market-leading Melbourne Planning team. Urbis provides an exciting multi-disciplinary environment to refine your skills and grow your career.You will:Provide advanced statutory and strategic urban planning principles and methods and the ability to apply them, including advice relating to land use, development capability, due diligence assessments, master plans and the approval process and managementManage medium to large size projects including scoping, costing of projects and formulating tendersMaintain and grow strong client relationshipsSupport the delivery of strategic Planning projects and other national initiativesNurture and develop individual staff members, through effective coaching and mentoringProvide assistance with strategic planning exercisesAbout You:4-5 years of relevant experience in Urban Planning.Proven work history in a Consultancy environment and relevant tertiary qualifications.Proven writing skills in MOUs, agreements, reports, precinct structure plans. An ability to take an idea and put it on paper to tell a storyProven ability to manage and develop team membersAbility to identify and win new business, with a track record of building new clients within Melbourne.Experience in growth area and regional planningStrong verbal and written communication skillsPassionate about producing insightful and high-quality adviceStrategic thinking - outside the square, how to resolve problemsWhy Urbis?The heart of Urbis is our people, we believe every employee has the right to be invested with good leadership, a competitive salary and career development opportunities.
