As the Senior Consultant, Acquiring Specialist, you will: Be a key product sales expert supporting our proposition in winning with more complex customers and be brought into customer conversations by our front-line transaction specialist teams when required. Play an integral part of the BPB sales deal team as the primary merchant acquiring specialist when technical product input is required and act as the conduit between Bankers and Product to drive sales and success for our merchant solutions. Collate and grow our domain's collective knowledge of both our understanding of customers as well as how our products can work to best meet customer needs. Provide thought leadership to customers and bankers on acquiring and transaction solutions. Provide feedback into product development as input into the product backlogs. Support customer implementation teams where necessary to ensure customers are set up properly. Educate specialists and banking teams to build collective capability in Merchant Acquiring. What you will bring: Demonstrated experience working in a similar Product Manager, Acquiring Specialist in a Merchant Services team. Knowledge in Transactional Banking, Acquiring or Payments Product Specialist. Knowledge of ecommerce solutions, POS, ERP and transactional banking solutions. Understanding of and be able to drive strategic & complex sales conversations in relation to all things Acquiring CP/CNP, 3 Dsecure, tokenisation, hosted solutions, API integration. Experience and/or exposure in building current and future acquiring roadmaps and how this translates into customer solutions. Ability to liaise with customer business and technology counterparts to discuss issues, needs, pain points and recommend solutions. Ability to lead customer and bank stakeholders to suitable solutions. Ability to work with stakeholders of different domains – Sales, Technology, Marketing, Product and customers. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Knowledge and deep passion for the latest trends, technologies and regulations relating to the payments industry.
