Role Snapshot
• Support the scientific underpinnings of conservation planning and analysis by working closely with key research, technical and policy staff, and collaborators to prepare strategic and operational advice to senior management, stakeholders and other agencies' officers about geospatial aspects of the project.
• Contribute to high quality data management and data publishing for the program and provide supportive advice and documentation to a range of stakeholders.
• Bring your organisational A-game to the project team.
• Thrive on adding fresh perspectives to cultivate a workplace that's clever, kind, and inclusive.
• Know or want to learn further about biodiversity conservation data, ecological concepts such as population viability, CAR principles and the application of spatial conservation planning tools.
• Bring your geospatial modelling skills (such as python, R, ArcGIS Modelbuilder, FME or equivalent) to data systems management and analysis.
• Team up with others to get the job done and to do it well.
