The team is responsible for ensuring compliance with Planning and Building legislation, as well as the City's local laws.In this role, you will work within a team environment, supervising other compliance officers and conducting your own complex investigations. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing court briefs, presenting evidence and initiating prosecutions when necessary.What we are looking forTo be successful you must be able to demonstrate:Extensive experience in a compliance or investigative roleProven public relations and interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively handle conflict situationsStrong understanding of the Building Act 2011 and Planning and Development Act 2005 and ability to apply this legislationCurrent driver's licenceCurrent National Police clearance (less than three months old).
