It has a particular focus on vulnerable children and young people. The Commission is also the regulator for the Child Safe Standards and the Reportable Conduct Scheme. The Commission supports flexible and hybrid working models.Reporting to the Manager Regulatory Compliance, the Senior Compliance Officer takes a lead role in delivering the CSS compliance program, including implementing the risk assessment framework, working with co-regulators, undertaking compliance audits and compliance and enforcement actions, and providing advice on issues relating to the implementation of the CSS.The role requires that the person is trained and appointed as an Authorised Officer (AO) for the purposes of Part 6 Division 3 of the Act and will be required to conduct remote and field-based inspections.
