About the Role:
This entity is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Compliance Officer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs to ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal policies. You will work closely with various departments to promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
In this role you will be involved in: Developing and implementing compliance policies, procedures, and training programs.Conducting regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential compliance risks.Monitoring and analyzing regulatory changes, ensuring the entity's policies are up-to-date and compliant.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on compliance-related issues.Leading investigations into compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.Preparing reports for senior management and regulatory bodies as required.Providing training and support to employees on compliance matters.About You: Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field, preferably within the retail industry.Strong knowledge of compliance regulations and standards relevant to the retail sector.Ideally you will have been involved in a compliance framework implementation and or enhancements.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.How to apply:
