We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.As a Senior Compliance Officer within Titles Queensland you will be primarily responsible for the coordination of Titles Queensland's compliance examinations. This role will lead and support other officers to assess the compliance of subscribers (lawyers, financial institutions) and electronic lodgement network operators (ELNOs) with the regulatory framework for national eConveyancing.This role is responsible for the coordination of the subscriber compliance function and development of policies and procedures to support this function. As a member of a diverse, culturally aware and inclusive titling team, where available, you will also undertake a diverse range of other tasks and play a role in supporting Titles Queensland in fulfilling its agency and legislative roles in relation to the ongoing development of Titles Queensland Subscriber Compliance Program.Key AccountabilitiesCoordinating the Electronic Lodgement Network Operator (ELNO) and Subscriber Compliance with the ECNL in Queensland.Providing advice and guidance to Regulation Officers undertaking subscriber compliance examinations or facilitating escalation to Principal Regulation Lawyer or Manager Regulation as appropriate.Developing good practice policies, procedures and guidelines to support the subscriber compliance function within Titles Queensland.Contributing to the development of a new national enforcement regime for eConveyancing.Monitoring and contributing to KPIs of the team.Undertaking compliance examinations to assess eConveyancing subscribers and ELNOs compliance with the Electronic Conveyancing National Law.Participating in the national Subscriber Compliance Working Group, national assessment panels and other working groups and forums when required.Contributing to the preparation and review of rules, policies, procedures, guidance material, correspondence and other documents relevant to the eConveyancing regulatory framework.Assisting in the implementation of automated systems.Engaging with stakeholders on the operation of the legislative framework, rules, requirements and processes under the ECNL.What we can offer:Modern office in the Brisbane CBD.
