About this position The City is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to join its Health and Compliance team. The team is responsible for ensuring compliance with Planning and Building legislation, as well as the City's local laws. In this role, you will work within a team environment, supervising other compliance officers and conducting your own complex investigations. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing court briefs, presenting evidence and initiating prosecutions when necessary. What we are looking for Extensive experience in a compliance or investigative role Proven public relations and interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to effectively handle conflict situations Strong understanding of the Building Act 2011 and Planning and Development Act 2005 and ability to apply this legislation Current driver's licence Current National Police clearance (less than three months old).
