Rabobank has an opening for a Senior Compliance Manager (Markets, Treasury & Wholesale). In this role you will establish yourself as a Trusted Advisor to the Markets & Treasury businesses within Rabobank. This is a hands-on, highly visible Line 2 role where you will work closely with Wholesale, Markets & Treasury local & global business stakeholders, Control Room, & other areas of broader Compliance, Legal, Audit, 2nd Line Risk & 1st Line Risk Champions. Through these interactions you will continue to refine your advanced business & commercial acumen.
You will join a capable team based in Sydney & report to the Head of Local Compliance Office.
Top Role Accountabilities:Providing expert compliance advice to business units, including guidance on regulatory changes & new product approvalsDesigning & documentation of controls that are efficient, effective & support compliance with obligationsPlan & facilitate policy implementation in a timely manner with the business units including with Head office & local policiesLeading/supporting the risk assessment process for all compliance risks, including ongoing support on the identification & management of risksContributing & providing compliance related information to support quarterly reporting to committees, Board, Regulatory, any other reporting, including provision of insights that drive better management of risks, controls & obligations in the businessTo be successful you will have:10+ years' compliance experience gained within large corporations or regulatorsDemonstrated compliance markets experienceA strong understanding of the Australian regulatory environment, particularly in financial markets & treasury activities.
