The role of Senior Compliance and Enforcement Officer is to undertake complex investigations into alleged offences and proactive compliance monitoring and audits in line with the RTA's Compliance and Enforcement Plan and Policy.
Investigations are to be conducted with procedural fairness and impartiality to provide appropriate fact-based outcomes.
This position will also involve managing a high-volume caseload, contributing to process development and implementation, and supporting other team members to build and develop skills through coaching and mentoring.

To be successful you will need: The ability to assess and analyse evidence and employ various investigative strategies to thoroughly examine complex and sensitive alleged offences and enforce outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
Ability to drive and prioritise compliance audit activities.
Experience in compliance and enforcement or regulatory and legislative environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
A positive attitude and passion for delivering quality customer service and outcomes to promote compliance.
A willingness to support team members through coaching and knowledge sharing to build and develop skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
