Senior Compliance Analyst – IPART Officer E

About the role
The role carries out compliance functions for the NSW Energy Savings Scheme (ESS) and the Peak Demand Reduction Scheme (PDRS).
In this role you will:

Perform compliance functions with a focus on site inspections and investigation
Undertake a range of other compliance functions including complaint assessment, intelligence gathering, audit analysis, enforcement, education and stakeholder support
Plan and conduct investigations into alleged breaches of the ESS and PDRS rules
Prepare investigation reports/briefings and make risk-based recommendations to management on appropriate compliance actions
Plan, risk assess and conduct regulatory site inspections

The salary range for the position is $121,892 to $130,479 per annum + superannuation and annual leave loading.

About you
We are looking for someone who:

Has extensive experience in the formal conduct of investigations with knowledge of, and experience with, contemporary investigation techniques, strategies and legal requirements as well as preparing evidence for legal proceedings.
Has extensive experience undertaking a range of compliance-related activities in a complex environment.
Has experience, knowledge or qualifications in a relevant field such as energy savings schemes and/or technologies, electrical/plumbing & drainage or other relevant standards, site inspections or another relevant field.
Has excellent written and verbal communication skills, including excellent report writing skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
Has the ability to manage a case load, meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
Is willing to travel and work at locations throughout NSW.
Holds Certificate IV (Government) Investigations (or similar qualification) or has preparedness to obtain the qualification through IPART funded program.
Has a current Australian driver's licence.
