Jemena is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Compliance Advisor to join our team. This pivotal role will support our Regulatory Compliance Manager in implementing robust compliance management frameworks and ensuring our adherence to various regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:Compliance Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of compliance management frameworks across the Jemena Networks and Gas Markets functional groups.Monitoring and Oversight: Provide continuous monitoring and oversight of compliance against regulatory requirements.Stakeholder Liaison: Engage with internal and external stakeholders on key market compliance issues.Compliance Reporting: Accountable for both internal and external compliance reporting.What You'll Bring:Experience: Demonstrated experience in compliance frameworks, compliance reporting, and regulatory compliance matters, ideally within the energy sector.Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of state and national policies, energy industry regulatory structures, energy markets, licenses, codes, and guidelines.Communication Skills: Proven ability to assess complex regulatory matters and communicate compliance requirements clearly and concisely at all organisational levels.Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work collaboratively across various functional groups and with peers.Compliance Acumen: Sound understanding of compliance and risk frameworks, and compliance management systems.Economic Understanding: Comprehension of the economic and commercial principles underpinning energy markets and their regulation.Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing staff, peers, and external stakeholders, including experience in preparing and presenting to management and formal submissions.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Economics, Commerce, Law, Business, or a related field.Why you should come and work for us: Our people are our energy source and we offer meaningful benefits and rewards that work for you.
