This is a pool recruitment process (Ref 01103).
This pool will run for a period of twelve (12) months and may be used to fill ongoing fixed term contracts, secondments, acting/relieving and permanent opportunities (full time). There are currently two (2) permanent full time opportunities available. POSITION OBJECTIVE This position manages high-risk funding and service agreements and obligations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, policies and legislation and ensures strategies are supported through appropriate resource allocation.
This position actively monitors performance and risks and identifies appropriate strategies to achieve the outcomes and deliverables of funding agreements.
Consults across and manages stakeholder commercial compliance and delivery, and provides advice on complex commissioning and service agreement issues.

Communication and negotiation skills - Communicating effectively with diverse audiences, presenting messages in a clear concise manner, preparing complex procurement and technical documents, consulting effectively at all levels in the private and public sectors, providing compliance management advice and guidance, negotiating, liaising and consulting on commercial agreement matters, undertaking compliance and non-performance dispute resolution, engaging effectively and managing relationships with stakeholders.Leadership skills - Building, modelling and promoting an ethical leadership culture that encourages innovation, collaboration, coordination and partnership with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Leading in a team environment to achieve targeted outcomes.Commissioning skills - Dealing with high-risk funding agreements (administered as grants, service agreements or contracts) development and management.
Managing projects and commissioning issues.
Demonstrating commercial acumen and managing complex service agreements (contracts).Applicants are also required to submit a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV).
Your CV should provide enough detail (dot points are sufficient) to allow the selection panel to assess your skills and experience relevant to the Key Accountabilities of the attached Position Description Form.
The CV must also include the names and contact details of two (2) referees who can comment on the applicant's ability to satisfy all of the Essential Work Related Requirements.
Applicants should nominate at least one immediate (most contemporary) supervisor/manager unless exceptional circumstances exist.
Please note: For applicants deemed suitable, all Essential Work Related Requirements listed in the Position Description Form will be assessed at some stage during the selection process.
OTHER CONDITIONS In addition to the above mentioned vacancies, a POOL is being created to fill future vacancies that may arise within the division.
This POOL will remain active for a period of twelve (12) months from the initial appointment.
Applicants who are assessed as 'suitable' at the completion of this process, will be placed in the POOL and may be considered for future permanent and temporary vacancies as they become available.
Integrity and criminal checks will be conducted if the recommended applicant for a position is not a current WA Police Force employee.
