The Opportunity: The Department is looking to create a pool of dynamic and experienced Senior Communications Officers. As a Senior Communications Officer, you'll play a central role in delivering strategic communication projects that inform, inspire, and connect.
You'll manage web and print publishing, develop compelling content, and lead initiatives that promote our department's vision.
From creating content for external and internal audiences to community engagement, you'll ensure our communications are aligned, impactful, and effective.
Your expertise will guide our media liaison efforts and ensure seamless communication during critical incidents.
Working collaboratively with teams across the organisation, you'll drive consistency in messaging, enhance stakeholder relationships, and contribute to the development of innovative communication strategies.

This pool will operate for a period of 12 months with vacancies being offered at part or full time on a permanent or fixed term contract basis with the possibility of extension or permanency.
