About the opportunity The Senior Communications Manager, Content & Channels is part of the team that carries responsibility for protecting and enhancing Australia Post's reputation, which is achieved through the delivery of Australia Post's communications strategy.
The Senior Communications Manager, Content & Channels will have responsibility for creating the content strategy, driving a consistent tone of voice across enterprise-wide communication with flow-through to external and social.
Consolidating and optimising the use of digital internal channels, specifically driving the use of Viva Engage – our enterprise internal social channel, across the network.
The Senior Communications Manager, Content & Channels will drive communications campaigns with key stakeholders across all areas of the business, focusing on amplifying those that deliver on Australia Post's Post26 strategic objectives.
This role will work to implement and bring to life AP's positions and decisions via managing resources and activities within the Communications team.
Critical to this role will be working collaboratively across the Enterprise Communications and Business Unit teams, as well as PR and Media teams.
You will build effective relationships at all levels of the business and develop a deep understanding of business needs and stakeholder audiences.
You'll be responsible for: Managing the effectiveness of Australia Post's content and channels, leveraging new and existing channels to support strategic objectives Writing the Enterprise-wide content strategy to keep developing what we share in new and refreshed communication channels Leveraging analytics and new tools such as Viva Amplify and Viva Connections to enable cross-department communication and engagement across leaders and teams Playing a key role in the development and delivery of the Communications strategy and the strategic initiatives that will improve communication and engagement for our team members Building trusted relationships with leaders across Australia Post, preparing communication plans, messaging and presentations, as needed Working with Business Unit Communications team members to develop a deep understanding of the priorities, issues and opportunities to work collaboratively Supporting key enterprise projects and initiatives by developing and advising on communications approaches to enhance team member and stakeholder engagement Working with Executive Managers and the Collaboration team to deliver key events (e.g.
Town Halls) in both face to face and virtual formats that lead the best-practice use of technology available Identifying external opportunities to leverage media and Executive thought leadership to promote internally and encourage team members to share with their social professional networks Being a key member of the Communication's extended leadership team Collaborating with the wider Communications team to ensure consistency of business messages and alignment with enterprise-wide programs Driving the Enterprise Communications activity and campaigns Working with the Head of Enterprise to identify opportunities for innovation for the team and manage new projects About you You are a seasoned communications expert and leader.
Content is your passion and creating campaigns is second nature.
Action-oriented, creative and driven by data you are organised, efficient, adaptable and have a solution-focused attitude.
You're inquisitive, proactive, eager to get stuff done, and enjoy building strong relationships with team members and stakeholders across the business.
What are we looking for?
