Your key accountabilitiesThe core capability requirements for this role are:Provide accurate and timely advice, prepare, and implement internal and external communication and engagement strategies and produce innovative and creative communication and engagement solutions.Assist with the delivery of presentations and reports to senior executives in relation to planning, review and implementation strategies.Prepare and review complex reports, briefing notes, submissions, departmental and other correspondence relating to communication strategies.Represent QPS and manage liaison and coordination with government and nongovernment stakeholders in the development of communication and engagement plans and policies to support program activities and achieve positive outcomes.Build and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to assist with meeting organisational and program objectives.Undertake research and analysis, interpret, and solve problems to support project implementation and identify opportunities for improvements in processes and service delivery.Coordinate program launches, displays, events and presentations, including workshops as required.Role RequirementsTechnical/Operational/Educational experienceKnowledge, experience or qualifications in a communications related area (i.e., Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing) with the ability to use email marketing platforms such as Vision6, graphics and video editing tools.OtherCapacity to support operational duties during disaster events. This may require work outside of normal hours (e.g., night shift), including weekends, working extended hours and may include deployment to other parts of the State.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
