As our Senior Communications and Engagement Officer, you will:
• Develop and manage the implementation of integrated communication and stakeholder engagement activities, including the preparation of communication strategies and plans from inception to evaluation.
• Research, write, develop and edit a range of communication and engagement materials.

About the role
As our Senior Communications and Engagement Officer, you will:
• Develop and manage the implementation of integrated communication and stakeholder engagement activities, including the preparation of communication strategies and plans from inception to evaluation.
• Research, write, develop and edit a range of communication and engagement materials.
• Manage complex workloads, meet deadlines and commitments and complete tasks within a tight timeframe, both independently and as part of a team.
• Rapidly analyse and interpret complex technical issues in plain language.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, colleagues and clients in order to meet expectations.
• Work collaboratively with teams of technical specialists on high-profile projects including emergency responses for biosecurity and natural disasters.
• Provide advice and support to management on communication and engagement projects.
• Maintain current knowledge of latest trends and best practice in communication and engagement.
• Work outside of normal business hours may be a requirement of this role.
You may also have
• a qualification in communication, engagement or marketing would be well regarded.
