About the Role Customer Engagement is the largest group within the Australia Retail Division at ANZ. We support close to five million customers with a focus on being the bank of choice for Home Owners, for their home loans and other banking needs.
As the Senior Communications Advisor for Customer Engagement, you will lead and support the delivery of internal communication programs to support our strategy and priorities. This will see you utilising your previous experience to help ensure our communication channels and tools are being used effectively and new ideas and concepts are quickly adopted.

What will your day look like? Reporting into the Senior Communications and Engagement Manager, you will need to be hands-on, comfortable working with multiple stakeholders at all levels and enjoy a fast-paced, changing environment to deliver successful communication and engagement campaigns, as well as maintain operational communication channels to ensure our bankers are always prepared with the right information to help our customers.
You'll be an advocate for the application of best practice communication approaches, and be adaptable, resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You will be passionate about our customers, ensuring that our focus is always about enabling the exceptional customer experience ANZ is known for.
What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong experience in leading and delivering best practice internal communication plans for complex campaigns across varying frontline audiences.
Highly skilled in verbal and written communications, with experience in developing and executing newsletters with messages that are clear and impactful for diverse audiences.
Strong issues management background including investigating issues, briefing stakeholders and leading a best practice communications response, often during stressful situations.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate with and influence frontline teams through to senior executives.
Strong ability to connect the dots and problem solve.
Similar experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable.
