Position Details About usThe Portable Long Service Authority (the Authority) is a self-funded statutory body established to administer the Long Service Benefits Portability Act . The Act, together with the Long Service Benefits Portability Regulations provide a Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme. The Authority plays an important role in allowing workers in the community services, contract cleaning and security industries to build up long service benefits based on time in their industry rather than with a single employer. We foster an inclusive and collaborative culture that celebrates achievements and allows everyone to contribute to our success.About the roleThe Senior Communications Adviser, under the direction of the Senior Manager Communications and Engagement will contribute to the development and implementation of complex communications and engagement strategies and supporting stakeholder relationships. The Senior Adviser will also provide strategic communication advise to senior management and partner with internal stakeholders across the organisation. This is a brand-new position joining our growing Communications and Engagement team to promote the Authority and the benefits of the Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme across Victoria.About youOur ideal Senior Communications Adviser will hold qualifications in communications, marketing or a similar discipline along with significant experience in a similar role. You will have demonstrated experience in digital campaign development and delivery and preparing high quality communications materials for a variety of audiences, an understanding of trends and development in media to assist in implementing innovative strategies, and strong attention to detail.
